PANORAMA ELECTRONICS successfully implemented an IP-Based CCTV Surveillance System across IOCL Terminals & LPG plant under the Odisha State Head Office in Bhubaneswar. The project focused on perimeter intrusion detection, operational safety, centralized monitoring, and regulatory compliance for critical fuel infrastructure facilities.
The project included design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a scalable IP-based surveillance infrastructure featuring PTZ cameras, explosion-proof cameras, Servers, Storage, VMS platforms, Fiber Optic connectivity, industrial switches, centralized monitoring workstations, Videowall and UPS-backed power systems across multiple IOCL facilities. The surveillance platform was also integrated with the Terminal Automation System (TAS) to provide enhanced operational visibility and security.
The deployment involved managing geographically distributed locations, ensuring hazardous area compliance, integrating with legacy infrastructure, maintaining uninterrupted fuel handling operations, and deploying weather-resistant surveillance systems capable of operating in harsh industrial environments, where temperatures reached up to 50 degrees.
The surveillance implementation significantly enhanced operational safety, incident response capability, perimeter protection, and centralized monitoring efficiency across IOCL facilities. The project delivered a secure, scalable, and future-ready surveillance ecosystem that strengthened operational control, business continuity, and infrastructure security across critical fuel handling environments.
